Job Description

The Sourcing Analyst, Responsible Sourcing, Change/Knowledge Mgmt., Training and Culture will support management of data, reporting, and risk analysis for Visa’s diverse supplier ecosystem; partner with internal and external stakeholders on various Responsible Sourcing strategies/initiatives; support any change or knowledge management needs; aid with the setup, implementation and follow up of various department training; and drive a sense of team and team culture within the department as a part of the Global Sourcing Center of Excellence (CoE).

This role will be provided direction by the CoE Sr. Analyst and Sr. Director, and may work closely with Global Sourcing, Inclusion & Diversity, Visa University, Finance, sourcing industry partners, 3rd parties and more to support providing education, training, awareness, reporting and access to diverse suppliers, department tools; manage informing or change to various processes; and implementation of team building events. Analyst will also identify and communicate, challenges, opportunities, and potential ways to improve all areas providing support.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible Sourcing:
    • Support Visa’s Responsible Sourcing strategy and team, initiatives, systems, training and reporting with internal and external business partners.
    • Maintain working knowledge of supplier diversity, supplier code of conduct, social and compliance requirements, risks, and reporting requirements.
    • Partner and calculate quarterly diverse spend numbers for client reporting in designated systems.
    • Completes ad hoc supplier diversity requests based on templated aligned responses.
    • Collects all relevant data from internal stakeholder and diverse spend tool (currently Simfoni) to complete first round draft of Executive Committee Dashboard quarterly reports. Aligns with Sn Director and follows through on any tactical updates.
    • Supports Global Sourcing and business requests for diverse suppliers for various RFx business needs, documenting requests for reporting.
    • Attend various Responsible Sourcing meetings and support any action items.
    • Aid with supporting Responsible Sourcing program implementation within our Regions.
    • Partner with the Supplier Relationship Management team to support any cross-over engagements, processes, projects and/or initiatives.
    • Manage various supply chain tools and/or data bases as well as document and make recommendations to improve process and any systems leveraged as needed, including a diverse supplier registry/database.
  • Change Management:
    • Supports education and roll out of change management process(es)
    • Calendar any meetings, sessions, or touch bases as needed in support of finalizing activation.
    • Provides meeting recap(s), next steps, action items and owners via clear and concise meeting notes.
  • Knowledge Management / Training
    • Support uploading, refreshing, and providing access to various training documents or modules.
    • Calendar any meetings, sessions, or touch bases as needed in support of finalizing activation.
    • Support pulling together any decks, data, or information for any trainings or reporting needs.
  • Culture
    • Partners with Committee to ideate on events and team building opportunities to create an annual global Culture Calendar.
    • Aids with identification of events that are global in support of Region engagement.
    • Manages calendar(s), agenda(s) and tactical execution of events and team building activities.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, social responsibility, international relations, environmental sciences, sustainability, business, economics, mathematics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably in sourcing/procurement, supplier diversity or ESG, professional accreditation a plus
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of responsible sourcing, supplier diversity, ESG, sourcing/procurement processes and systems is a plus.
  • Excellent written, oral and presentation skills and an ability to synthesize information and make clear, concise recommendations on course of action
  • Experience managing internal and external customers and users. Strong relationship management skills and ability to influence at a mid-management level both internally and externally.
  • High level of self-motivation, initiative, proactive, adaptable to changing priorities/deadlines and ability to operate as an effective team player.
  • Understanding of process mapping and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Understanding of supplier diversity, social and environmental supply chain issues
  • Proficiency in purchasing systems and organizational interfaces (including, Ariba, Coupa, DocuSign, and Oracle)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook as well as data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI).
