In this role we are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial sourcing leader who can drive and accelerate our development in India by securing, expanding, and elevating a strong ecosystem of local partners.

Your Key Responsibilities:
Lead and represent the India Alliances Sourcing Portfolio, acting as the primary interface with cross‑functional teams internally and a wide ecosystem of external partners. Provide strong sourcing leadership and actively support the Intermediates Category Sourcing organization.
Own Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) for the India‑based supplier landscape: identify, evaluate, select, develop, and steer key partners. Build long‑term strategic relationships and monitor performance, ensuring effective negotiation, contract management and continuous improvement.
Drive value creation by collaborating broadly with R&D, Operations, Quality, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance on a range of initiatives aimed at improving cost, service, quality, sustainability, and innovation outcomes.
Develop and communicate market intelligence, including short‑ and long‑term price trends, supply/demand outlooks, and competitive insights, to influence decision‑making and guide category strategies.
Contribute to the evolution of the Global Alliances Category Strategy, bringing a strong India‑market perspective and supporting long‑term business growth and supply competitiveness.
Manage and execute procurement initiatives in close partnership with all relevant stakeholders and the global procurement community, ensuring seamless coordination and effective project delivery. You will be accountable for your Budget and Last Estimates reporting

Prepare and lead fact‑based negotiations, supplier selection processes, and contracting activities, ensuring alignment with procurement standards and business requirements.
You Bring
Chemist Background. BSc degree in a relevant expertise area, MSc degree preferred;
10 years+ expertise in either Procurement and/or broader Business context of Category management or related commercial functions;
Strategic thinking & creativity, collaboration excellence;Thorough negotiation and influencing skills and able to engage others, able to navigate through matrix work environment;
Experience in Chemicals / Flavors and Fragrance materials is an asset;
Fluent in English (C1) .Accountability to decision-making, ensuring alignment with our values and achieving positive outcomes.
