You will be working as Supplier onboarding Specialist and will be part of Electrification business for Smart Power division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Procurement Team lead and will be responsible for efficiently managing the end-to-end process of supplier onboarding, including supplier registration, qualification and handling Master Data Governance (MDG) tickets within the SAP Ariba platform. You will be playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth onboarding of suppliers, maintaining data accuracy and supporting compliance requirements.

Your responsibilities

• Managing the supplier registration process within SAP Ariba, ensuring all required information is accurately captured
• Providing guidance and support to suppliers during the registration process, addressing any inquiries or issues
• Developing and implementing processes for supplier qualification, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and industry regulations
• Receiving, analyzing and prioritizing Master Data Governance (MDG) tickets related to supplier information within SAP Ariba
• Ensuring that supplier data is maintained accurately and in compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements
• Collaborating with internal teams, including procurement, legal and IT, to align on supplier onboarding requirements and processes

Your background

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• Knowledge on procurement and logistics / supply chain management, or a related field will be added advantage
• Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and compliance
• Familiarity with procurement processes, contract management and regulatory requirements
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
