KBR uses both bespoke and commercial off the shelf (COTS) systems – experience in the administration and configuration of some of the below COTS application would be advantageous:

  • Deltek Costpoint (ERP/Supply Chain Module)
  • MS Dynamics (ERP/Supply Chain Module)
  • SAP (ERP/Supply Chain Module)
  • SharePoint

The opportunity

The Corporate Procurement team is looking for a skilled and Supply Chain professional with proven ability and experience in Procurement Planning to interface and coordinate between the functional stakeholders, Procurement execution team and vendor Management to plan and schedule requirements, changes and monitor orders/status.

The Procurement Planner will be responsible and engaging with business partners on critical business requirements for purchase requests.

We are looking for an individual who is solution oriented, detailed, and organized to drive timelines while maintaining compliance. An Individual who can take the initiative and work independently as well as part of a team, with the ability to dive into the detail and build positive stakeholder relationships (no matter the circumstances). Responsible for both planning and monitoring requirements to ensure of a schedule of orders to conform to delivery dates, who is a natural project manager who is willing and able to roll their sleeves up and get the job done, while keeping inclusivity, dignity, and respect at the heart of what they do.

The Procurement Planner will be responsible for the direct execution of the following duties:

  • Engaging with business partners on business requirements for purchase requests,
  • Gathering all necessary requirements from the business stakeholders during the planning and requisitioning phase, ensuring accuracy and completeness prior to engaging Procurement,
  • Creating the purchase requisition and submitting the action request with the procurement execution team,
  • Generating and maintaining purchase requisition reports, monitors status/ cycle-time.
  • Developing an effective and accurate system for monitoring and purchase requisitions,
  • Monitoring trends across corporate management categories (e.g. IT, HR, Travel etc), including data and stats that supports total volume forecasting, exception reporting and other stakeholder required information,
  • Change Management,
  • Providing timely updates and analysis to Corporate Procurement Sourcing/Execution partners to identify scenario planning opportunities,
  • Communicating fully with others who have a need to know.
  • Ensuring that the metrics used to evaluate compliance and performance are properly tied to business outcomes and bias-free, and that the associated communications around these metrics are clear, with a clear focus on managing and mitigating risks,
  • Complying with and following all procedures to ensure adherence with company policy.

Qualifications

  • An understanding of typical supply chain processes.
  • 5+ years’ experience using MRP/ERP computer systems (SAP, Costpoint, MS Dynamics preferred)
  • Experience supporting large/diverse user groups.
  • planning and/or master data management experience
  • Data and metric oriented for decision-making

  • Forward thinking, receptive to innovative ideas and suggestions, flexible, and able to look beyond the current way of doing things.
  • Ability to work across multiple initiatives adjusting to shifting priorities.
  • Proactive and able to work under own initiative. Have the ability to learn quickly, work as part of a team or independently, have a logical approach to problem solving and have an awareness of current business practices and an interest in the way organizational processes work.
  • Solid work ethic with attention to detail.
  • Organized – ability to plan, prioritize and delegate where required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and client-handling skills, with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical information in appropriate detail,

Location/Travel Requirements:

  • Full-time
  • Agile working (home based)
