Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:
 
This role is responsible for the development and implementation of Digital Operations across Emerging Markets in Omni-channel Services, Point-of-Sale Systems and Back-end Retail Operations.
 
In this role, you will work closely with EM Cluster teams, Retail Stores, EM Hub and global functions, including (but not limited to) IT, Tech Delivery Hubs, Retail Back-Office, Merchandising and Supply Chain, to drive enablement and operationalization of digital operations and Omni tools, also analyzing current processes, identifying opportunities and drive improvements
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Ownership and E2E management of roll-outs related to Omni-channel and Retail services, Point-of-Sale systems, Back-Office and Head-Office
  • Launching, managing and driving Omni-services across EM, including Ship from store, Endless Aisle, Click and Collect, Fast delivery, Express delivery, among others.
  • Be the subject matter expert for EM teams on all Digital Ops solutions, facilitating training, knowledge and best practice sharing
  • Facilitate and drive EM Pilots / Initiatives enhancing digital consumer experience to provide a truly consistent monobrand consumer experience
  • Monitoring and assessing the usage of implemented solutions, reviewing, creating and reporting on the relevant KPIs/SLAs
  • Support software and hardware testing, ensuring a smooth delivery of tools and capabilities
  • Uploading, downloading and following order data through Omni and digital tools (OmniHub, OrderHub, POD system, etc.)

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Deep understanding of Omni processes (Ship from store, Endless Aisle, Click and Collect, etc.) and Digital tools (mPOS, payment integration, RFID services, etc.)
  • Experience in Retail/Omnichannel operational processes, in-depth understanding of usability and efficiency in digital and mobile, and knowledge of back-end system landscapes, involved in developing and implementing new IT solutions.
  • Expertise in project management, problem-solving, data processing and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with team members and cross-functional stakeholders, willing to set and aspire for the highest performance standards.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including presenting, influencing and negotiating among diverse and inclusive groups of varying sizes and organisational levels.
  • Technologically aptitude with high proficiency in MS Office software applications, as well as familiarity with analytical platforms
  • Result-oriented attitude, high resilience and agility, attention to detail and strong work ethic
  • 2+ years’ worth of experience in a similar position
 
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:
 
  • University degree in business, ideally with retail/tech focus or equivalent professional experience
  • 2-3 years Retail operations experience
  • Understanding of Retail operations
  • Exposure to sports Retail / Franchise desired
