Boeing India supply chain management team is currently looking for Supplier Program Management Lead to join their team in Delhi India.

A successful candidate will work directly with the Manager, Supply Chain (India). A successful candidate will get opportunity to work on Boeing Defense Programs and will be working on Supply Chain deliverables for these mission critical programs. Candidate will understand the importance of collaboration, stakeholder management and time criticality for these critical Programs.

Position Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include the following activities (not limited to): –

• Drive India local Campaigns and Capabilities – growth of SC SCOR capabilities for Boeing Defense India (BDI) & BIPL in support of current and upcoming contracts (campaigns & Future opportunities)
• Work with Different Internal stakeholders like Contracts, Business Development, Program for New Business and Awards.
• Work along with suppliers on Capability development and MRO works for Defense Programs.
• Support Localization efforts / Help in developing In-country capabilities for Supply Chain deliverables.
• Work on Planning and Estimation for Campaigns and New Business.
• Represent India Supply Chain in front of customers, Suppliers and Internal stakeholders
• Monitors performance metrics, performs trend analysis and takes mitigating action to meet performance objectives and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare required reports and documentation & work on MIS system as per the requirements.
• Conducts oversight and management of strategies, performance and development of large-scale products and services
• Identifies and manages all aspects of supplier, statement of work, RAA, contractual commitments and performance to support company procurement strategies and contractual compliance and establishes operating plan
• Manages technical, business, product delivery, quality and in-service aspects of supplier/subcontractor relationships and performance
• Establishes operating plan to monitor performance to plan
• Material planning
• Support India Program team as per the requirements.
• Support India Supply Chain Management as per requirement.
• Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities.
• Leads stakeholder relationships and performance throughout all contract phases.
• Conducts and guides supplier assessments.
• Develops current and projected work statement.
• Leads and establishes the basis for recovery, corrective and preventative action plans.
• Communicates supplier and organization performance plans risks, issues and opportunities to stakeholders.
• Develops and executes work movement plans.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as a BASIC QUALIFICATION
• Working experience in Aerospace/Aviation/Airline industry.
• Strong Oral and Written communication
• High proficiency working with Excel, Power point and MS office tools.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Should possess knowledge of Defense Customers, Business development, Program management, Supply Chain function / Logistics, regulatory agency, industry and procedures as they apply to Aircraft maintenance and sustainment concepts, support equipment & systems, part interchangeability, Supplier performance management, Supplier assessment.
• Experience in Supplier Management. Prior Knowledge /experience on working at MRO, working with airlines / Indian defense forces customer is desired.
• Should have good understanding on Indian supplier capabilities related to maintenance, repair / overhaul of aviation components.
