YOUR ROLE

  • Assumes accountability for overall supply planning performance (stock availability, inventory levels, SLOBS) for dedicated asset groups
  • Leads the management and resolution of supply chain bottlenecks
  • Establishes and maintains safety stock and inventory balances appropriate to meet production requirements but at lowest feasible levels. Initiates and determines disposition of excess, obsolete and slow-moving inventories and coordination of shelf-life extension with relevant quality department and warehouses.
  • Establishes demand and supply balance for dedicated assets by creating a rough cut capacity plan on a rolling basis. Reconciles input from Business Planners and production sites in order to identify and resolve gaps.
  • Coordinates activities and work flow with Operational Schedulers to ensure production and material handling are aligned. Resolves materials management issues causing deviations.
  • Interacts and co-ordinates with manufacturing sites for regular review and assessment of capacities, capabilities and performance.
  • Assumes responsibility for subcontractor service levels
  • Interacts and co-ordinates with Purchasing to review subcontractor performance
  • Manages supply planning activities related to the phase-in and phase-out of finished goods and components together with demand planner.

YOUR SKILLS

  • Minimum 5 Years of work experience
  • Graduation in any stream
  • Should have working experience into Finished Goods Planning
  • Excellent stakeholder management and good communication skills
