• Spearhead efforts to localize suppliers by developing robust relationships with local vendors for sheet metal parts, castings,
• forgings, brass, special SS materials, and electrical items. Ensure vendors are aligned with the company’s quality, cost, and delivery
• goals.Inventory Control & Cost Optimization:
• Manage inventory levels effectively, aligning procurement with demand forecasts. Optimize costs through strategic negotiations
• and vendor selection while ensuring consistent quality and timely deliveries (OTD).Vendor Selection & Qualification:
• Lead the technical site assessments and supplier qualification processes, collaborating with cross-functional teams including
• engineering, manufacturing, and quality to define criteria and ensure supplier capability. Oversee Advanced Product Quality
• Planning (APQP) with suppliers to guarantee process reliability.Supplier Performance & Audits:
• Develop KPIs to monitor and drive supplier performance across cost, quality, and delivery metrics. Conduct regular supplier audits,
• ensuring compliance with company standards and continuously improving supplier capabilities.Techno-Commercial Expertise:
• Leverage deep technical knowledge in materials such as sheet metal, castings, brass, and special SS materials to provide cost
• estimates, negotiate commercial terms, and resolve technical challenges. Ensure all commercial terms are strategically negotiated
• to drive company objectives.Project Procurement Management:
• Oversee procurement activities for key projects, ensuring timely sourcing and purchasing of materials like castings, forgings, brass,
• cutting tools, and consumables. Ensure close collaboration with the project and engineering teams to meet project deadlines and
• technical requirements.
• Supplier Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers. Facilitate vendor development programs that
• ensure suppliers meet evolving business needs and are capable of supporting new projects or product developments.Innovation & Continuous Improvement:
• Stay at the forefront of sourcing innovations, adopting new strategies to drive cost savings, improve lead times, and increase
• supply chain agility. Lead initiatives to continuously improve sourcing processes and supplier development strategies.Team Leadership:
• Provide leadership to the sourcing and procurement teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strategic thinking.
• Guide teams through major projects, supplier negotiations, and the resolution of complex supply chain challenges.

Ihr Profil

• At least 12-15 years of experience in strategic sourcing and vendor development, with a focus on complex categories like sheet metal, castings, forgings, brass, special SS materials, and electrical items. Proven experience in leading both domestic and international procurement.
• Expertise in costing, quality requirements, and supplier development.
• Strong knowledge of APQP processes and supplier qualification.
• Proficiency in conducting technical site assessments and audits
