Job Description
Main Responsibilities:
Manage plant-level purchasing activities to ensure timely procurement of engineering goods and services at the right price, quality, and quantity.
Act as the first point of contact for purchasing at the plant/location, coordinating with PU/SU and escalating issues to Purchase Management when required.
Monitor and ensure timely closure of Purchase Indents from all departments.
Release purchase orders ensuring compliance with price, quality, and delivery requirements.
Negotiate with suppliers and support suppliers onboarding following governance guidelines.
Develop and maintain a reliable supplier network through performance monitoring.
Improve plant-level operational purchasing processes including planning, procurement, and logistics.
Ensure compliance with purchasing processes and practices to achieve individual and departmental KPIs.
Coordinate with Finance for supplier payment releases and reconciliation……
