Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India’s first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.Tata Electronics is a subsidiary of the Tata group. Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Sourcing & ProcurementPartner with engineering, operations, and finance teams to define technical and commercial requirements for semiconductor equipment procurement.Identify and evaluate global suppliers for semiconductor assembly, test, and fabrication equipment.Develop sourcing strategies, including RFQ/RFP processes, supplier benchmarking, and total cost of ownership (TCOO) analysis.Lead price negotiations, contract finalization, and commercial terms optimization (warranty, payment terms, lead time, etc.)Supplier & Stakeholder Management:Build and maintain strong relationships with key equipment suppliers.Conduct supplier risk assessments (financial, geopolitical, supply chain resilience).Work closely with legal and finance teams to ensure compliance with contracts and procurement policies.Project & Delivery Management:Ensure on-time delivery of equipment to meet ramp-up schedules.Monitor supplier performance (quality, delivery, service) and drive continuous improvement.Resolve commercial disputes and supply chain bottlenecks affecting equipment procurement…..
