Good Year India Limited
Job Description
As a Manager-Supply Planning, you will directly support business continuity, improve planning accuracy, and enable faster cross-functional decision-making, contributing to both cost efficiency and revenue delivery.
Key Responsibilities: You are responsible for end-to-end supply planning, covering both S&OP and S&OE planning horizons for Farm and Commercial PBUs. You are accountable for India Farm & Commercial Supply Chain operations, including Production Planning, Supply Network, and deployment planning across all channels — OE, Replacement, and Export B — to support India’s Go-To-Market strategy. You define inventory targets at network nodes such as factories, DCs, RDCs, and JIT warehouses, ensuring aligned service levels while balancing transportation and warehousing costs. You develop deployment methods to ensure the right tires are at the right locations, improving stock availability across all network nodes. You are accountable for defining deployment frequency, tools, and issue resolution. You coordinate with Manufacturing and Quality teams to ensure timely production and supply availability in line with the network deployment plan. You plan off-take supply for FFT and Tubes in alignment with business plans and inventory norms. You manage inventory allocation by channel, customer, and product segment within the S&OE horizon, supporting India’s business strategy. You are accountable for reviewing slow-moving and aging inventory across the network and driving inventory balancing across nodes.
Experience: You bring 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, including but not limited to demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP & S&OE management. You have extensive experience in supply network deployment planning, with strong emphasis on network transformation, transformation projects, and digital transformation. Experience in the Tyre industry, FMCG, or E-Commerce industry will make you stand out even more.
Education: You hold a Bachelor’s or higher-level degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related discipline.
