Job Description
Purpose of the Role:
The Assistant Manager – Sales will support revenue growth by managing client relationships and driving sales in the luxury marble segment. The role involves working closely with architects, interior designers, and project clients to generate business and ensure successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Business Development
Achieve assigned sales targets for marble products
Identify new opportunities in retail and project sales
Generate leads through architect and designer networks
2. Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with architects, interior designers, contractors, and HNI clients
Ensure regular engagement and follow-ups with key clients
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline
3. Project Coordination
Manage the sales cycle from inquiry to closure
Coordinate with internal teams (operations, logistics) for timely delivery
Ensure smooth execution of ongoing projects
4. Market Intelligence
Track competitor activities, pricing, and market trends
Share insights to improve product positioning and sales strategy
5. Reporting & MIS
Maintain accurate sales reports, CRM updates, and pipeline tracking
Ensure timely submission of MIS and client updates
Key Requirements:
Experience: 3–6 years in sales (preferably marble / tiles / luxury products)
Industry Preference: Marble, Tiles, Sanitaryware, Furniture, Lighting, Building Materials
Education: Graduate (MBA preferred)
Skills:
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Good networking ability with architects/designers
Sales-driven and target-oriented mindset
Basic understanding of project sales
