Job Duties
Under broad direction, responsible for planning, budgeting, and supervision of all capital asset activities.
This includes providing information on identified asset requirements, establishing acquisition priorities, utilization and return on investment (ROI) of capital, delivery, issue, and inventory status of each.
Ensures appropriate coordination with regional Product Service Line (PSL) staff, manufacturing personnel, internal and external suppliers, and logistics personnel to ensure materials are delivered to end-users in accordance with requirements.
Defines and coordinates manufacturing and procurement planning strategies with field operations.
Develops long-term capital planning and control plans and communicates plans to their respective business unit, Product Service Line (PSL), and/or Country or Natural Work Area(NWA) leadership.
Allocates and moves necessary resources to enhance CVA/profit for assigned region and PSL.
Manages Halliburton Management System (HMS) process development and implementation.
Interfaces with technology, manufacturing, and marketing on strategic and tactical issues.
Administers delivery of products to their region, other groups, other PSLs, and external customers.
Performs inventory management for their region PSL and spare requirements forecasting.
Ensures proper safeguarding and scorecarding of appropriate regional PSL inventory.
Conducts regular materials reviews with regional PSL Manufacturing, and Procurement and Materials (P&M) organizations. Coordinates planning strategies with Manufacturing Master Planner.
Provides leadership and guidance to assigned staff.
Job role is responsible for measurable assets such as a department budget and manages staff of 3-15. Job role requires detailed product and Company operations knowledge and general knowledge of master planning, inventory management and materials requirements planning.
Completion of an undergraduate degree in business administration, materials management, industrial distribution, engineering, or similar disciplines required.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in materials management which includes experience in procurement and/or logistics and/or operations management. Must have district operations experience, either field or R&M. Possession of a relevant offshore certificate.
